“Your vision, passion, and unwavering dedication touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on the state’s landscape.
“To his family, may cherished memories bring comfort, and to the people of Ondo State, may his legacy of development and service remain a guiding light through this difficult time.

Senator Bukola Saraki in his verified X account said, “From serving as the Attorney General of Ondo State, to becoming a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, to becoming the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, to eventually serving the people of Ondo as their State’s Chief Executive.
“The late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu lived a remarkable, inspiring, and accomplished life, by all standards.
“His career, centered around the legal profession and governance, showcased his extraordinary ability to lead and serve.
